The Undertaker's Streak Ends: WrestleMania 31 Match 'Unlikely' For Dead Man [VIDEO]

The Undertaker fell to 21-1 all-time at WrestleMania when he lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans on April 6, casting doubt over whether or not he'll be back for one more match in 2015 at WrestleMania 31, and it appears as though the Deadman may not return to the squared circle.

Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to end The Streak and snuff out one of the WWE's most successful storylines over the last couple of decades of WrestleManias. The Undertaker also got injured in the match, leading many to speculate he may retire due to being injured and losing The Streak.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, The Undertaker has been asked whether or not he would be returning for another match at WrestleMania 31 after a brutal match with Lesnar took its toll on him, and 'Taker said as recently as last week that it wasn't looking likely.

Plans For SummerSlam Surrounding Lesnar, Bryan and Cesaro

The Undertaker reportedly said that the chances of him working WrestleMania 31 in a physical capacity weren't looking good. 'Taker has been back to the gym working out after spending a couple of months recovering from the injuries he sustained against Lesnar.

There were reports that the WWE might finally try to put together a Sting vs. Undertaker match a tWrestleMania 31 as they've tried for years, especially since Sting is negotiating with the company on a deal that would bring him in the fold. The negotiations have gone slowly, but are said to be smooth. With 'Taker's status looking doubtful, the match likely will never happen.

'Taker has yet to appear on WWE television to address the WrestleMania loss, and after taking his place in history as being the man to end The Streak, Lesnar has made very few appearances but is expected to play a huge role in August's SummerSlam and September's Night of Champions.

There has been a lot of speculation as to who made the final decision to have 'Taker lose to Lesnar, and while it has been noted that 'Taker always wanted to lose to Lesnar, it appears that Vince McMahon made the final call and kept it quiet from everyone but a select few.

It certainly was shocking and could be a fitting way for The Undertaker to go out, and given what he has said recently, it is possible that 'Taker wrestled his last match on April 6 in New Orleans.
