Money in the Bank 2014 Rumors [VIDEO]: Daniel Bryan Stripped Of Title, Updated Plans For Pay-Per-View

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H stripped Daniel Bryan of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Monday Night RAW and now the title will be up for grabs in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on June 29 at the TD Garden in Boston.

Possible Second Ladder Match Being Added To Money in the Bank

Bryan was slated to face Kane for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank in a Stretcher Match but it had been reported if Bryan wasn't physically ready to go after undergoing neck surgery last month the WWE would put the belt up for grabs in the ladder match.

It was revealed on RAW that Bryan still hasn't fully healed and won't be able to compete, leading to the WWE changing its originally slated plans. Now, instead of a briefcase being up for grabs, the title will be on the line in the ladder match.

Updated Plans For The Shield Following Their Breakup

It was originally reported that Cesaro was the favorite to win the ladder match, but it's uncertain if those plans have changed now that the title is on the line instead of a contract that is good for a title shot within the next year.

Sheamus and Randy Orton qualified for the match Monday night and Alberto Del Rio had previously advanced to the match last week on RAW. In Orton's case, he was just handed a spot by Triple H.

Three slots are open for the ladder match, and with Bryan out of the company until August at the latest, there is guaranteed to be a new champion at Money in the Bank.

Money in the Bank airs live Sunday June 29 from the TD Garden in Boston, and when the dust settles there will be a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
