Dana Warrior took to Facebook to talk about the experience and going to a WWE event for the first time since her husband passed away.

"When WWE invited us to be their guests at the Rio Rancho show I was scared to go... it felt too soon," Dana wrote on the social media site. "Still my Warrior girls insisted and for them I'll do anything! Our warrior spirit got us there and our WWE family took us the rest of the way. Such a special night we will always remember. Our house may not feel like home without him... how lovely backstage at WWE still did. xo Dana"

The Warrior, who had a tumultuous history with WWE -- including Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and Superstars such as Hulk Hogan -- was able to make amends with the company and some former Superstars he had a rocky relationship with on what proved to be the last weekend of his life.

The Warrior was inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5 and then over the next two nights he made his first appearances at WrestleMania and Monday Night RAW in 18 years. On RAW, he conducted a spine-chilling promo about life and death and the legacies WWE legends leave behind, even saying that one day every man breathes their final breath.

Less than 24 hours later, The Warrior collapsed while walking to his car with his family at an Arizona hotel. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital just a day after making those great appearances and being welcomed back into the WWE family.

It was later revealed that Warrior died of a cardiac episode that stemmed from heart disease at the age of 54.

The WWE paid tribute to him on the following episode of Monday Night RAW by gathering the WWE Superstars on the stage for a 10-bell salute and playing a tribute video to him on the big screen. The WWE Network then announced "Warrior Week," airing a series of specials about his life and career which included a documentary on his Hall of Fame and WrestleMania XXX experience just days before.

The Warrior has left behind a great legacy in the squared circle, and while it was hard for them, his family was able to attend a WWE event in memory of him this past weekend.
