Colin Kaepernick Sexual Assault Investigation: Miami Police Say Alleged Victim 'Wasn't Cooperative [VIDEO]

Miami police never touched or handled rape-kit evidence taken from the woman who alleged she was sexually assaulted by NFL star quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

TMZSports.com reported authorities are vehemently denying Jayniece Prichette's accusations that "corrupt" cops may have tampered with her toxicology tests. As is customary, investigators contend all evidence collected from Prichette was gathered by trained medical staffers at a rape treatment center.

TMZ also added officers now insist Prichette "wasn't cooperative" during their lengthy investigation, leading to the probe ultimately being dropped by the department's internal affairs division.

Back in early April, Prichette told police she spent an evening at the Viceroy Hotel with Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers teammate Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawk Ricardo Lockette smoking marijuana and heavily drinking before awakening to find herself in a hospital emergency room.

In ending their investigation, police told reporters they found "no indication that a criminal act was committed. She was alleging that she may have been the victim of a sexual assault, and there was no evidence."

From the very start, Kaepernick professed his innocence and recently told reporters "as I said from Day 1, I would never do the things that were made up about me. I'm glad this issue is resolved. It's time for football."

The 49ers recently moved to sign the third-year veteran to a six-year, $126 million contract extension. Kaepernick has his best season in 2013-14, passing for 3,197 yards and 21 touchdowns.
