Diego Maradona Mad at FIFA After Controversial Brazil-Columbia Match [VIDEO]

Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona ctiticized FIFA yet again after the hotly contested quarterfinal match-up between Brazil and Columbia won by the host nation, 2-1.

On his TV show titled "De Zurda" Maradona denounced the poor officiating in the game and even suggested that there is conspiracy to make Brazil world champions for the sixth time. He also called on referee Velasco Carballo for his poor officiating.

"I think they made a great choice with the referee, especially in those crucial moments when Colombia had the better chance in winning the game," the former World Cup champion said via Yahoo! Sports.

The soccer legend continued with his rant saying that Brazil is not worthy of its semis berth and criticizing the governing body for allowing the host nation to get away with the win.

"The agreement is going to be done on the pitch ... as long as everything goes to plan on the pitch, then everything becomes much clearer for 'the dictator' to say 'see, we let Brazil move on,'" he insisted.

The outspoken Argentine continued: "When I saw FIFA congratulating the referee because he had such a great game I asked myself, 'What the f---? What game were they watching?' They probably mistook this game for a baseball game or a bullfight because they didn't watch this [Brazil-Colombia] game."

He also expressed his dismay at the yellow card given to Columbian playmaker James Rodriguez. He said the young Columbian showed great personality despite the Brazil players continuously fouling him.
