WrestleMania 31 Rumors: Triple H And Vince McMahon Clashing Over WrestleMania Plans Regarding Brock Lesnar [VIDEO]

Now that Brock Lesnar is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion there is reportedly a clash outside of the squared circle between WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and company executive vice president Triple H over Lesnar's role at WrestleMania 31.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that McMahon and Triple H have been "butting heads" over what to do with Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

McMahon reportedly wants to have Lesnar face Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the event while Triple H is pulling for a match pitting "The Beast" against future top babyface Roman Reigns.

Lesnar defeated John Cena to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Sunday night at SummerSlam live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and he is under contract through Night of Champions on Sept. 21, but it is expected he'll appear at WrestleMania 31 as well as some other dates.

While Lesnar's status between Night of Champions and WrestleMania 31 remains up in the air, there have been rumors that he will be the champion heading into 'Mania, though nothing has been confirmed. There have been talks of Reigns winning the Royal Rumble and meeting Lesnar for the title at WrestleMania, but that also remains up in the air.

The Rock has said recently he wants to return to action and that he would love to compete at WrestleMania if his schedule allows it as he hosted WrestleMania XXVII, wrestled Cena at WrestleManias XXVIII and XXIX and appeared alongside Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin at WrestleMania XXX.

According to The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, there is some word going around backstage that McMahon sometimes undercuts Triple H which makes him look bad and could be leading to some frustration.

Meltzer also noted that he doesn't sense too much negative tension between the two and that it may just be a "good cop/bad cop" dynamic though there is said to be a little tension between the two.

It remains to be seen how Lesnar will be booked over the next few months given the fact that he has a limited appearances schedule, but he will likely be a huge factor at WrestleMania 31.
