Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy hasn't been his usual self this year and it's possibly due to an off-the-field distraction.
McCoy has been rumored to be dating reality star Porsha Williams. The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star added fuel to the rumors on Wednesday by posting a picture of McCoy on her Instagram with the caption "Baby Steps" along with the heart eyes emoji:
McCoy has just 192 yards and one touchdown through the first four games of the season. He has failed to surpass the 100-yard mark in any of those games and just 17 yards on 10 carries in Philadelphia's 26-21 loss to San Francisco on Sunday.
Williams is the ex-wife of former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart. She rose to prominence in 2011 after their elaborate wedding ceremony was featured on the television series "Platinum Weddings." She joined "RHOA" in 2012 for the show's fifth season. Stewart filed for divorce from Williams in 2013 and it was finalized in December. She didn't receive any of his property or earnings through the settlement. Williams launched her music career in March with her debut single, "Flatline."
McCoy has always been a consistent running back since he entered the NFL in 2009. He had the best year of his career in 2013 under head coach Chip Kelly's fast-paced offense that helped him rush for 1,607 yards and nine touchdowns. As his star-power rose in the NFL, his celebrity grew off the field as well and he is even eatured in his own ESPN commercial.
The Eagles are currently 3-1 and in first place in the NFC East, but they will need McCoy to get back on track if they hope to remain on top of the division.
