Clay expressed disgust over the idea that his wife cheated on him with a former teammate and someone that he referred to as a mentor during his time at the University of Oklahoma. Many people questioned why Clay would take to Twitter to reveal the news, and he responded with a follow-up tweet.

Clay and his wife seemed to be getting along just fine earlier this year. Clay posted several pictures online of the two hanging out, including one of the couple with Johnny Manziel. The revelation seems to have upset everything however, as Clay says he found many text messages and pictures that Murray and his wife had exchanged on one of her old phones. Clay filed for divorce on Monday.

DeMarco Murray has remained silent on the allegations, as has Clay's wife Gina and Heidi Mueller, the mother of Murray's child. There is no word on when any of them might speak on the matter, and at this time, even the content of the text messages is unknown.

As mentioned earlier, it seems like Clay and his wife were getting along fine earlier this year, and he and Murray have not been teammates since Clay's freshman year at Oklahoma (2010).
