Lukas Podolski agreed to personal terms with Inter Milan. According to Italian outfit Corriere dello Sport (via Pro Soccer Talk), the agreement is for a six-month loan with an option to buy. A permanent transfer is said to be in the neighborhood of $7 million and could be extended to $10 million.

Just don't tell Arsene Wenger. The Arsenal boss dismissed the rumors on Tuesday.
"That is a joke," Wenger said (via BBC). "Inter Milan are not serious. There's only talk. Podolski is a player of Arsenal Football Club and I want him to stay."

When asked if the 29-year-old will still be with the club after the January transfer window closed, he added: "I hope so, yes. I don't doubt that in some situations players need experience, but that is not the case for Podolski."
What the German midfielder does need, however, are minutes. Undoubtedly, that is the case for Podolski. A mere 228 minutes of play were credited to his name in the first half of the 2014 campaign.
For Inter Milan's part, manager Roberto Mancini still confirms his desire to alleviate the vexations of a player out of favor.
"I'm not angry [about losing Alessio Cerci to AC Milan]," Mancini said (via ESPN FC). "There were lots of clubs after him and we had not even opened talks. [Podolski] is part of that list and we'll just have to see who actually arrives."
Podolski and Arsenal return to action on Thursday, visiting Southampton at St. Mary's Stadium.
