That's how US women's soccer star Hope Solo described her actions on the night she rode in a team vehicle with her husband, who was intoxicated behind the wheel.
Hope Solo Interested In Rejoining Team USA
Solo's husband was arrested for that act of indiscretion and Solo suspended from the team for a month. Solo had previously brought bad PR to the women's team thanks to her role in a domestic violence dispute with family members during a barbecue-gone-wrong.
Solo spoke with ABC's Good Morning America in an interview that aired on Wednesday morning, and she revealed great remorse at her recent slate of bad behavior.

“It was a horrible choice," she said to Robin Roberts. "I think I just wasn’t in a good place, emotionally, to even make good decisions. It’s not an excuse. It was stupid. We should have called a taxi.
“I want people to realize I’m just human, I’m just human and I make mistakes,” she added. “And I want people to be able to forgive me.”
Team USA seems to have forgiven here, at least tentatively. Solo has rejoined the squad's active roster, as they prepare to contend for the World Cup in Canada this summer.
