TNA Wrestling News And Rumors: Destination America Becoming Major Problem For Dixie Carter's Promotion Creatively? [VIDEO]

TNA Wrestling's transition from Spike TV to Destination America was supposed to be its saving grace, but now it's proving to be a bit of a burden.

Last Man Standing Match Rumored For WWE Extreme Rules, Updated Card and Stipulations

There appears to be some issues with the network trying to control the creative side of Dixie Carter's wrestling promotion.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, one of the issues facing TNA -- aside from financial problems with paying their wrestlers -- lies within Destination America calling some of their creative shots.

The network reportedly feels that since it invested so much money into Carter's promotion and spends hours of television time running it, they should have some creative say.

Per the report, Destination America is not big on TNA having tapings for Impact Wrestling in the United Kingdom as they feel it's detrimental to have something broadcasted from the U.K. airing on a network dubbed as Destination America.

It's worth noting that those in charge of the network don't really know the wrestling business well, but they reportedly want most Impact Wrestling installments to be taped in the United States. The network may be open to a yearly tour to the U.K. for TNA, but it wants a high majority of the company's flagship show to be taped in the U.S.

It has also been noted that network officials may be the reason behind Kurt Angle winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

The reason for this is reportedly because officials for the network were high on the thought of Angle, a former Olympic gold medalist, being on Destination America as a proud American who represents TNA as its main title-holder.

Angle returned to TNA on a new contract, negotiations stalled with the WWE and made a comeback on the premiere episode on Destination America back on Jan. 7.

He then picked up his record sixth TNA Heavyweight Championship after defeating Bobby Lashley on the March 20 edition of the show, which was taped on Jan. 31.

The network is also high on Taryn Terrell's look, which is why they like her as Knockouts Champion. Terrell won the title -- her first ever -- in September and has held it for over 200 days.

TNA parted ways with Spike TV at the beginning of 2015, but its move to Destination America hasn't been a smooth ride
