Every fan has an opinion about how their team should approach the NFL draft. Many times, people tend to agree with the draft experts and the front office members about what players would make good targets.

At other times, people tend to think that they know everything and that anyone who disagrees with them is either narrow minded or a simpleton. There is nothing wrong with being confident, but regardless of what a person thinks they know, they should be careful about making bets that they may not want to honor.

There were rumors that New Orleans might look to draft a potential replacement for Drew Brees, but apparently at least one fan was fairly confident that it would not be Bryce Petty.

Many rooted for the Saints to draft Petty at that point, although they never did. The team did select a quarterback, however, taking Garrett Grayson out of Colorado State in the third round.
