DIAMONDBACKS vs ROCKIES Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Doubleheader Arizona at Colorado

Today at 3:10 p.m. ET, the Arizona Diamondbacks (10-14) and Colorado Rockies (11-13) play a traditional doubleheader live from Coors Field in Colorado.

After back-to-back rainouts, this series finally gets underway with a twin billing. Arizona continues their road trip after dropping three games to the Dodgers in Los Angeles to kick it off while Colorado kicks off its homestand hoping to snap a five-game skid.

The Diamondbacks took two of three from the Rockies at home from April 27-29.

In Game 1, Josh Collmenter (2-3, 2.76 ERA) toes the rubber for Arizona while Colorado counters with Tyler Matzek on the bump and he is 2-0 this season with a 2.70 ERA. Collmenter already has a complete game under his belt in 2015.

Robbie Ray takes the hill in his Diamondbacks debut in Game 2 after being called up from Triple-A Reno while the Rockies turn to Jordan Lyles and he is 2-2 with a 4.25 ERA through five starts this season. Ray fastened a 1-3 record with a 4.01 ERA in five starts for Reno this year.

Matzek faced Arizona on April 27 and held it to two runs and five hits in five innings before a hamstring strain caused him to depart while Collmenter faced Colorado on April 29 and limited it to one unearned run on five hits in eight innings en route to the win.

The Diamondbacks were swept away by the Dodgers over the weekend, losing Sunday's game 1-0.

The Rockies, meanwhile, went 1-5 on their road trip and fell to the San Diego Padres 8-6 on Sunday in a game that saw Charlie Blackmon notch three hits, including his fifth homer of the year, and two RBI.

Blackmon hit long balls in two straight games against the Padres and went 10-for-23 with three homers and two doubles on the trip. Blackmon's two triples are tied for second in the National League.

Colorado catcher Nick Hundley rides a nine-game hitting streak into the game and is 6-for-14 (.428) lifetime against Collmenter.

Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu is second in the NL with a .392 batting average while shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is second with 12 doubles and third baseman Nolan Arenado ranks fourth with a .616 slugging percentage.

Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is off to a torrid start. Goldschmidt ranks second in the NL in RBI (22, tied) and OPS (1.070), third in slugging percentage (.622), fourth in on-base percentage (.448) and batting average (.356) and fifth in total bases (56).

Arizona outfielder Mark Trumbo is tied for the league lead with three triples this season.

Both these teams enter play on the bottom of the NL West standings as Colorado sits in fourth place and Arizona resides in fifth.

It's a doubleheader when the Diamondbacks and Rockies go head-to-head this afternoon at Coors Field.
