WWE Rumors: Update On Tyson Kidd After Match With Samoa Joe Leads To Injury [VIDEO]

Tyson Kidd was injured during a dark match with Samoa Joe prior to Monday Night RAW and his status remains up in the air.

6 Potential Matches For WrestleMania 32

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Kidd received medical attention after his dark match against Joe and there was some speculation that he received a spinal injury during the contest.

Joe was reportedly on-hand because Triple H and Vince McMahon wanted to sign him to a main roster contract based off of the early success of his merchandise.

The details are sketchy following the injury and the report indicates that the WWE has a new policy of keeping injuries as quiet as they can so that they don't leak out into the public.

Kidd is reportedly hopeful to avoid surgery and make a quick recovery while the WWE is trying its best to make sure that the injury isn't talked about publicly.

Natalya indicated on Instagram that she was going through some challenges related to her family, but it's uncertain if it had anything to do with Kidd's injury.

The WWE Diva took to Twitter to thank the fans for their support during this time.

No official announcement has been made because the WWE is reportedly still having Kidd undergo medical tests. There is also a feeling within the company that the ailment was a freak occurrence and not something that could have been avoided.

Joe burst onto the scene last month at WWE NXT Takeover: Unstoppable when he disrupted the main event between NXT Champion Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Joe was set to be an exclusive entity to NXT, but since he was at RAW on Monday he was used in a dark match.

The former TNA and Ring of Honor star has set his sights on Owens and the NXT Championship.

It remains to be seen what sort of injury Kidd is dealing with.
