MLB All-Star Game Voting 2015: Orioles Manager Buck Showalter Rips Royals Leading The Fan Polls [VIDEO]

Count Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter among the many people who are upset with the way the voting for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game has gone, particularly with how the American League has tipped in the Kansas City Royals' favor.

The latest MLB poll results from the fan voting for the All-Star Game show seven Royals manning the eight positions on the field that the baseball fans are able to vote on.

In the outfield, Kansas City starters Alex Gordon and Lorenzo Cain sandwich Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout, who is the only non-Royal to be voted in as a starter thus far.

The infield is made up of Salvador Perez behind the plate, Eric Hosmer at first base, Omar Infante at second, Alcides Escobar at shortstop and Mike Moustakas at the hot corner -- all part of the defending AL champion Royals.

Showalter blasted the process and took aim specifically at Infante getting the nod to man second base.

"What do they have a virus in the computer?" Showalter asked, according to radio host Joe Giglio. "There's got to be. Infante is the eighth [All-Star]? What's he hitting, .204? He must be having a heck of a defensive year."

Infante is hitting .210 through 54 games this year -- not much better than what Showalter pegged him at -- with 14 extra base hits (no homers) and 17 RBI.

Showalter's comments come just a week after Detroit Tigers pitcher David Price took to Twitter to rant about his teammate Miguel Cabrera being slighted for Hosmer despite his numbers being far superior.

"#mlb please do something about the [All-Star] voting...not that's it's funny but it's kind of a joke...#VOTEMIGGY," Price wrote last week.

The Royals have been defiant in the wake of all the backlash, telling supporters of other teams to go out and vote themselves to change things.

"There's nothing wrong,'' Royals manager Ned Yost told USA TODAY Sports. "Vote! The votes are the votes. If you don't like it, go out there and vote. Our fans have gotten out and voted.

While there's already some controversy surrounding it, the MLB All-Star Game is less than a month away on July 14 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
