Chivas Guadalajara Transfer News: Alan Pulido Tells Club to Talk to Levadiakos, Not Tigres UANL

Chivas Guadalajara acquired 50 percent of Alan Pulido's rights from Tigres UANL in the Liga MX draft this summer...except they didn't.

Jerry Flores Offered $5 Million by Chivas Guadalajara

Pulido, who signed a one-and-a-half year contract with Greek club Levadiakos, denounced any relationship with Tigres UANL after claiming the signature on the addendum portion of his contract in 2014 was falsified. With free agent status, the 24-year-old was granted a provisional transfer by FIFA's Player's Status Committee, allowing him to play for Levadiakos while the legal dispute continues.

On Mar. 9, Pulido scored his official league debut with Levadiakos in a 3-1 victory against Platanias.

He's not interested in any transfer made between Chivas and Tigres.

"They [Chivas Guadalajara] should talk to the team I'm registered with [Levadiakos]," Pulido said (via Informador). "[Tigres] have their own way of thinking, and I have mine because I'm actually telling the truth. Now, it's between them and my lawyers, who are on the same page with Levadiakos, the club I'm with, the club I'm playing for. We'll see what happens."

Per the report, Chivas will not fall victim to Pulido's claims.

Desperate to convince him to return to Liga MX—again, something Pulido has shown no interest in—Nestor de la Torre will take the coming week to remove any doubt with his status. The club president is scheduled to meet with Pulido this week while he's on vacation. Should he voice his public sentiments in private, de la Torre and company will be forced to look elsewhere for reinforcements.

Pulido made just six appearances for Levadiakos last season, a far cry from the impact he made with Tigres from 2010-15, finishing with 23 goals in 105 appearances.
