It turns out Russell Wilson could have another good reason for not sweating his contract-negotiations impasse with the Seattle Seahawks.
The fourth-year NFL quarterback who reportedly is seeking to become the highest-paid player in the league, engaged in a diversion from his on-field drama involving girlfriend Ciara, according to national.suntimes.com.

Wilson posted a photo of Ciara for "Women Crush Wednesday" on Instagram, which was a response to Ciara posting a photo of Wilson in his Seattle Seahawks uniform for "Man Crush Monday."

The caption on Wilson's Instagram post read, simply, "My #WCW ....@Ciara #ReturningTheLove".
While Ciara's gesture was sweet, Wilson's response is sure to create more of a stir with the provocative photo he chose for his significant other.
Wilson and Ciara have been dating since April. Ciara has a 1-year-old son with rapper and ex-boyfriend Future. She also has been romantically linked to rappers Bow Won and 50 Cent, as well as NBA player Amar'e Stoudemire.
Wilson was married to Ashton Meem from 2012-14. That situation became messy when Wilson's former Seahawks teammate, Golden Tate, was rumored to have slept with Meem while she was married to Wilson, oregonlive.com reported.
According to the New York Post,Tate told TMZ in February that he was angry Wilson still had not come to his defense over the rumors.
Wilson, meanwhile was rumored to have slept with the girlfriend of Seahawks tight end Joseph Fauria last December.
Wilson also was linked romantically to Summer and Winter Olympian Lolo Jones, based on their evening together at the 2014 ESPYs.
