The Beast, Brock Lesnar returns to the flagship show after wreaking havoc last week in what will be the final build to his WWE World Heavyweight Championship bout with title-holder Seth Rollins.

Superstars advertised for the show include Lesnar, Rollins, United States Champion John Cena, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Mr. Money in the Bank Sheamus, Big Show and Bray Wyatt.

The WWE is teasing that Lesnar will have more destruction in his plans while Rollins will look to gain some momentum heading into their main event clash at Battleground.

Another high-profile feud is between Cena and Owens as the two gear up for their third big event clash in what is the rubber match of their rivalry and the first one with title implications.

Owens is looking for his first WWE gold after dropping the NXT Championship on July 4 while Cena will seek to continue his fantastic run as U.S. Champion. There will likely also be an open challenge this week as well.

Elsewhere, the final build for Reigns vs. Wyatt will occur as The Eater of Worlds continues to play mind games with the Leader of the Roman Empire ahead of their conflict coming to a head this Sunday.

Things are also gaining steam in the Intercontinental Championship scene as Ryback prepares to defend his gold in a clash with two other men, The Big Show and The Miz.

This trio has been having some issues lately, and it will all come to the forefront in St. Louis at Battleground. First, however, they have to get through RAW.

The tag division also adds plenty of intrigue to tonight's proceeding as title-holders The Prime Time Players prepare to engage in war with The New Day on Sunday. With both teams looking to stay sharp heading into that contest, they'll look to have good nights on RAW.

The WWE is also teasing the conflict between Sheamus and Randy Orton as Mr. Money in the Bank and The Viper seemed to be destined for a match at Battleground.

Over in the Divas division, Team Bella has plenty of good vibes on their side as Nikki Bella enters Day 232 as Divas Champion, and she eyes AJ Lee's record reign of 295 days.

Paige has been the key Diva trying to put a stop to Nikki's reign, and a match between the two may be announced for Battleground in six nights and has been rumored.

With the big event just a few days away, the WWE will likely also round out the card for the show by announcing the final lineup.

It'll be a busy night for the WWE as the go-home episode of RAW for Battleground emanates live from the Philips Arena in Atlanta.
