Amir Khan Next Fight: Manny Pacquiao Bout 'Is Available,' Not 'Ducking' King Khan [VIDEO]

Amir "King" Khan (31-3, 19 KO) has struggled for the last two years to secure a fight vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr., that would guarantee the biggest payday of his career. His frequent barking may have been enough to land the second-biggest fish in the pond, however--Manny Pacquiao.

Khan has repeatedly brought up the possibility of fighting Pacquiao in Dubai, and while that is up in the air, Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum sees no issue with getting a deal with Khan done.

Bob Arum Issues Timetable For Pacquiao's Retirement

"This kid Amir Khan keeps shooting his mouth off about Manny Pacquiao. I can arrange for Khan to fight Pacquiao," Arum told The Telegraph.

"Amir Khan has been begging Mayweather for a fight and now he can get a major fight. I'm not a hard guy to deal with. I'm not going to mess them around. One thing's for sure, Pacquiao is not ducking Khan. Pacquiao will fight him. I don't know if Khan will fight Pacquiao, but it's available."

Boxing Commentator Says Pacquiao-Khan "Has To Happen"

The timing of this fight may be difficult to nail down. Pacquiao is expected to be out until 2016-he tore his labrum during training for his May 2 bout vs. Mayweather--while Khan wants to fight again before the end of 2015. Arum has also said Pacquiao might only fight one more time before focusing on a senate run in the Philippines.

"I believe he'll take one more fight, then run for Senate in the Philippines. He could fight twice more I guess, but it sets up better for him to fight, then run," Arum said.

Pacquiao has since refuted Arum's claim, and said he thinks he will fight more than once. "I know better what is happening to my body," Pacquiao said. "Just leave it alone. Better not to react to that."
