John Cena, Dolph Ziggler Feud: Mick Foley Says Rivalry Between Two Superstars Would Be 'Money' [VIDEO]

A potential John Cena-Dolph Ziggler feud has a stamp of approval from the Hardcore Legend.

Mick Foley believes that the seeds that the WWE seems to be planting toward a rivalry between "The Showoff" and the face of the franchise -- on "Total Divas" of all places -- would be "money."

5 Superstars Who Can Replace John Cena

"Properly executed, a Dolph Ziggler/John Cena feud could be HUGE!" Foley wrote in a Facebook post that opened with the word "MONEY!" "The MOMENT I saw the teaser for the ‪ Total Divas finale - with Dolph, the very real-life former boyfriend of [Nikki] Bella, telling his former flame he could be a husband and a father - I literally yelled 'THAT'S THE ANGLE! THIS IS WHAT ZIGGLER NEEDS!' into my living room. There's no doubt in my mind that a vicious (as opposed to cool) Ziggler with [Nikki] Bella by his side could be THE man in WWE."

Fans have clamored for Ziggler to be the man in WWE for some time, but both of his chances didn't last long and he's been sauntered down the card. The four-time Intercontinental Champion won and lost the World Heavyweight Championship in the same night for his first reign, and his second run with the belt ended in injury.

Cena vs. Ziggler: How Do They Stack Up?

In the two years since his last title reign, Ziggler hasn't come close to winning it back.

On the "Total Divas" finale this past Tuesday, Ziggler made a pass at Bella and showed he wants to commit to her, despite her dating Cena. The WWE can easily use this as a way to either pair Bella with "The Showoff," or have Cena and Bella's real-life relationship enter WWE storylines for the first time.

While a Cena heel turn seems out of the question, a Ziggler character change would be fresh and a long-term feud with Cena is just what he needs to get back on top.

Foley may have been hit in the head more times than he should have during his WWE career, but he's dead-on with this one.
