WWE RAW is collecting jewels like Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet. With LA Knight allegedly joining the brand from SmackDown, things are getting pretty interesting.
The commotion started when CM Punk disrupted Gunther's usual mic check, followed by the crazy entrance from Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman. The rest is history for the WWE fans who witnessed the iconic event last night.
Gunther Boasts, But CM Punk Crashes the Party
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther let everyone know he was there with his usual presence, proudly stating that he would dominate Goldberg. His promo wasn't uninterrupted, though.
According to ITR Wrestling, Rollins and Heyman arrived in the ring, briefcase in tow, to introduce a redesigned Money in the Bank case with suggestions of a scheme for Gunther.
The tension was short-lived. CM Punk came out and struck Rollins, carrying on their explosive feud. Rollins barely managed to get away, but Punk's anger got the best of him, and he laid down an impromptu beatdown on The Ring General, leaving Gunther dazed.
LA Knight Ambushes Rollins, Calls Out Punk Backstage
As Seth Rollins exited the arena steps, LA Knight emerged from the darkness and attacked him. Within seconds, Knight found himself confronted backstage by CM Punk, who issued a warning: stay away from his battle with Rollins.
After that, Knight remained calm, waving aside the threat as he readied himself for his next major bout at Saturday Night's Main Event.
For the record, don't forget to miss LA Knight vs Seth Rollins on July 12. The event will be aired live on NBC and available for streaming on Peacock.
LA Knight Reportedly Transfers to WWE RAW Roster
There have been rumors of LA Knight's brand change for months, and now it appears all but official. His recent participation in the Rollins-Punk angle and appearances on RAW indicate an assumed SmackDown to RAW transfer in quiet fashion.
Knight's move makes business sense. Having feuded with many of the blue brand's leading stars and after combustible run-ins with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, a move to RAW creates new rivalries and premium opportunities. With John Cena's Farewell Tour underway and roster realignments in SmackDown, Knight injects star power and energy into Monday nights.
Up to this day, Knight's departure makes everyone wonder who will replace him on SmackDown. WWE might use this moment to bring up a top NXT star or move an existing RAW star between brands.
The shakeup is happening at a critical time, with fresh rivalries forming and WWE gearing up for big events in the near future.
The Red Brand Just Got More Dangerous
With CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Gunther, and LA Knight now coming into collision, RAW is ready for explosive storylines. The combination of established stars and up-and-coming names is building the foundation for first-time encounters and blockbuster feuds, keeping people hooked on what's next. It's what the fans want, and it's what the WWE will give.
