Ronda Rousey Next Fight: Oscar De La Hoya Has 'Rowdy's' Back On Boxing Plans

Reigning UFC Women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey wants to do a lot of things in the future and the list continues to swell.

Already packed with UFC and Hollywood commitments, Rousey recently revealed via Fox Sports other entertainment and sporting niches she plans to delve into.

That includes hoping to be one day WWE Divas champion, a Jiu-jitsu champion and a boxing champion.

Of those mentioned, Oscar De La Hoya is ready to back up Rousey and all she has to do is say the word.

The Golden Boy Promotions CEO believes that Rousey will be good for boxing. He singles out Rousey’s commitment and skills as key traits that could eventually garner her success in boxing, something he feels stands out with other fighters.

"She's tough. She's really good," De La Hoya said. "Speed, power and instinct - which is very important. She dares to be great…she takes the risks and that's what I love about her."

This could very well be in line with her earlier pronouncement of retiring from the UFC once she reaches the age of 30.

Rousey doesn’t see herself fighting in the UFC two years from now and apparently these are some of the things she wants to get into aside from being a prominent Hollywood star.

Until that time comes, Rousey will have to take care of current matters which include defending the UFC bantamweight title.

Rousey is all set to face Holly Holm on Nov. 15 at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia as she stakes her UFC bantamweight title against Holly Holm.
