Khloe Kardashian went out of her way to stop her divorce to Lamar Odom and made sure everyone knew about it.
But no one knew why -- until now.

Kardashian, who is worth an estimated $20 million or more (according to therichest.com) kept her marriage certificate intact with Odom, estimated to be worth $56 million, so that he would continue to be on her health insurance plan, according to HollywoodLife.com.
"There's no doubt about the fact that Khloe has been wearing herself thin lately," HollywoodLife.com reported. "After Lamar overdosed on October 13, she's been right by his side every step of his recovery, ensuring that he has the best care possible. She even went so far as to dissolve their divorce filing, in order to keep the medical benefits of still being married!"

Kardashian recently said that she had a "multitude (of) reasons" to stay married to Odom, emphasizing that romance was not among them. But she has not said what those reasons are. The health insurance explanation is as plausible as any.
But saving a few pennies on hospital costs has taken its toll on the weary Kardashian.
"[Khloe] needs a vacation. The reason she is snapping about having work done is because she is taking aggravations out that she has for other things," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Caring for Lamar, trying to get James (boyfriend Harden) back in her world and just living her life has been a nonstop whirlwind these past few weeks.
"She is mentally and emotionally drained and needs time to herself to refresh and reload," the source continued. "The holidays are adding even more pressure, so she is going to try to sneak away for a weekend for herself away from everything. It will only be a good thing, and the sooner, the better."
Poor Khloe. Making sure everyone knows she's a) taking care of Odom, b) she's sneaking off to see Harden and c) promoting her new autobiography sure must be stressful.
