The calendar has turned to 2016, but the WWE Universe never stops. That doesn’t mean 2016 can’t be the starting point of a new direction for WWE. These are five major adjustments the company can make to have a near-perfect product.
5. Get Neville Some Real Storylines
Neville’s “Man That Gravity Forgot” gimmick is a little cheesy, but ultimately cool. What’s not cool is the nothing feuds they’ve given him since he was called up from NXT. It would be difficult to find any WWE Superstar more athletically gifted than Neville, and his small stature is no excuse for his lack of a push. He isn’t much smaller than Daniel Bryan, who won the WWE title.

Neville may not have the charisma of Bryan, or have paid all his dues, but he deserves to be featured more prominently. He can take a crowd’s breath away.
4. The End Of The Undertaker
Unpopular opinion alert! The WWE Universe has paid enough homage to the Deadman. Yes, Undertaker is undoubtedly one of the greatest wrestlers to ever live (even though he’s always been “dead”), but he’s old now. He can still put on a great match, but unless he’s facing Brock Lesnar, he’s going to lose, and the predictability sucks. He’s barely around to help carry his feuds, and he’s holding back Bray Wyatt’s ascension as WWE’s “Face of Fear.”

We’ll definitely see ‘Taker at WrestleMania. Here’s hoping he wins and rides off into the sunset.
3. Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar
Why hasn’t this happened? Roman Reigns vs. Lesnar is tough because Reigns’ game is brute force, which pales in comparison to Lesnar’s ability to do the same things. Seth Rollins doesn’t have the size to believably compete. Triple H is too old, the Undertaker angle is tired, and Kevin Owens….well maybe he could feud with Owens.
But the best way to destroy Lesnar is attacking his mind. Wyatt’s one of the best mic men in the business, and no wrestler plays head games like Bray. He has the brawn in the Wyatt family to stand up to Lesnar’s brute force, he’s one of the WWE’s top workers, and he’s big enough to hold his own.
Watching Wyatt wreak mental havoc on Lesnar, and promo duel with Paul Heyman would be the highlight of every WWE show for as long as this feud lasts. Most importantly, it won’t interfere with the various title pictures; that’s perfect, because neither Wyatt nor Lesnar needs a belt to be relevant.
2. Call Up Finn Balor
Balor has an entrance that rivals the Undertaker’s. He’s a phenomenal in-ring worker, and he is 34 years old. He’s not a youngster WWE can sit on any longer. Balor may not be a WWE title contender for a while (or ever, since he’s pretty small), but he would be a fantastic addition to the Intercontinental or United States title picture. He could tag team with Neville as former high-flying NXT standouts and duke it out with the New Day for years to come. The possibilities are endless, but he’s got to get here.
1. A Real Divas Revolution
The Divas are getting more attention, but the “revolution” has fallen short because of WWE’s insistence on factions. Paige and Charlotte have managed to branch out a bit, but it’s time for the other talented women to get their crack.
The “real” revolution would do away with the arbitrary factions, and center on Sasha Banks. “The Boss” has more charisma than Charlotte, and she’s so good in-ring that her NXT match vs. Bayley is more talked about than the Royal Rumble triple threat title match, which featured John Cena, Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins.
She’s that good. WWE needs more straight-up feuds, longer Divas matches, and most importantly, way more Sasha Banks.
