Chris Paul and J.J. Redick are now one; One as in teammates on the Los Angeles Clippers, that is. After a long simmering feud that stems all way back to their days as ACC Rivals at Wake Forest and Duke respectively, and even escalated to the point that Redick punched Paul at a Jordan camp.
As the leader of an NBA team with title aspirations, however, Paul knew the two had to make amends after the Clippers signed Redick in free agency this summer.
""We have actually had a chance to become real close, real quick," Paul told Yahoo! "Who would have thought after the battles we had in college."
Gamers that they both are, Paul and Redick both know they are the ying to the others yang, Paul the omnipresent floor general, Redick the sharpshooter. "We reconnected right away," Redick told Yahoo!.
Yahoo! reports coach Doc Rivers is hard at work devising schemes for his new backcourt duo, which he hopes will make the lives of big men Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan easier.
