LeBron James wants to "play one NFL game before it's over," according to Fansided.com
James, who was an All-State wide receiver in high school before breaking his wrist prior to the start of senior season and deciding to concentrate solely on basketball, is still often seen at NFL games and clearly seems to still have football in his blood.
James would be the first athlete ever to come out of the NBA to play in the NFL. Still, the list of those convinced the 6-8, 250 pound league MVP would be able to pull it off is growing by leaps and bounds.
Previously big-play NFL wideouts Randy Moss, Dez Bryant and Mike Wallace have all told the ESPN they feel James would be a "terror" as a pass catcher.
"That dude is just that talented," said Bryant. "I think it would take him probably about a good two weeks to get very acquainted with football, knowing what he's supposed to do. I think that's all he'd need with his physical ability. He's a beast."
The now retired Moss, who was twice named Mr. Basketball in West Virginia before embarking on a surefire NFL Hall of Fame career, was even more effusive.
"LeBron James is the athlete that comes around every so often," Moss told ESPN. "I would put myself in that category. We're multi-talented, able to go out and play different sports, different positions."
