Lamar Odom has struggled with demons throughout his life, so it's unbelievable that the owner of the brothel he nearly lost his life at is making a plea to get him back.
In October, the two-time NBA champion slipped into a coma and nearly lost his life after overdosing on painkillers at the Love Ranch, a brothel located in Nevada.
The incident caused his wife, Khloe Kardashian, to pause their divorce proceedings in order to make medical decisions for him and support him emotionally and financially.
The owner of the brothel, Dennis Hof, is now making a plea for Odom to come back. He's dangling free women and booze to try and entice the two-time NBA champion to return to the scene of his horrific downfall.
"First night and two girls are on me," Hof said, according to TMZ Sports, "plus all the Remy Martin you can drink."
While it's hard to believe Hof would actually invite Odom back given his issues, the brothel owner defended the decision to do so, citing that Odom's near-fatal overdose was due to issues with drugs, not alcohol or women.
Hof said there's a strict no drugs policy at his place of business, and he believes Odom had a great time prior to things going too far. Still, it's very short-sighted to try and sway an addict to return to a place where his addiction almost took his life.
The brothel owner also said he would ensure Odom's privacy by turning off all security cameras and collecting cell phones during his time there. Hof recognized that his offer may be seen as controversial, but bargained that he and his staff helped save Odom's life the first time around.
"Don't forget, the people who work here are the ones who saved his life," he said. "We truly care about him."
Offering vices Odom has struggled with doesn't seem to show too much care. Kardashian would likely give up on her two-time NBA champion husband for good if he went back to the scene of his near-demise.
Though they've publicly denied rekindling their romance, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and her once estranged husband have appeared inseparable. That doesn't mean there aren't a few cracks in their armor.
Sources close to Odom recently revealed that he places some blame on Kardashian and the reality show for the situation he found himself in. Odom hasn't helped his cause, either, as he was seen at a bar just hours before attending church with the Kardashian clan on Easter and has been spotted out drinking on numerous occasions.
It seems Kardashian may not know what she wants with Odom since she's either posting cryptic quotes about letting go of him on Instagram or having fun with him on Snapchat. She also evicted Odom's father, Joe, from his home, which could add another wrinkle to their relationship.
One thing Kardashian likely doesn't want would be for Odom to return to the brothel, especially if the offer from Hof includes plenty of booze and women.
