Khloe Kardashian has changed her tune on divorcing Lamar Odom. She's also changed her stance on the process in general.
In 2013, the reality star was all set to legally split from her estranged husband, but the process stalled last October when he suffered a near-fatal overdose at a brothel in Nevada.
With Odom clinging to life, Kardashian decided to halt the divorce in order to support him financially, be there for him emotionally and make medical decisions for him.
Now, it appears as though the pause on the divorce could be a permanent thing.
"At my core, I don't believe in divorce," Kardashian said, according to E! News. "But I came to a point in my marriage where I had to make the choice to take care of my own mental and emotional well-being in order to protect myself and my happiness."
Now that Odom has made a miraculous recovery, there have been rumblings that Kardashian might once again go through with the divorce. It seems, however, that it isn't the case at all.
"I am at peace with that decision and do feel like I honored my vows to the very end," she said. "I feel that I kept the serious vows I made in front of God with every inch of my heart, which is why I am still honoring them today even though my relationship with my ex-husband is in a different place. I believe in caring for my partner-past or present-'in sickness and in health,' and feel at peace with my relationship with God even after the fact."
Kardashian, who calls herself a "spiritual person" also insisted that it was a "challenge" for her when she decided to split from Odom. It seems after all they've been through, they're destined to be together forever.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has a history of staying close with exes throughout her life. Kardashian has been seen out and about time and time again with rapper French Montana, who she has remained friends with throughout the last few years despite their romance ending.
The actress and author also forgave Odom for his constant battle with demons and infidelity.
There have been rumors that Kardashian and Odom have been at odds lately, especially since a source close to him recently revealed he places some blame on Kardashian and the reality show for the situation he found himself in.
Odom was also seen out at a bar just hours before attending church with the Kardashian clan on Easter and has been spotted out drinking on numerous occasions. It also doesn't help that the owner of the brothel Odom nearly died at is trying to lure him back.
Kardashian has been hot and cold with her husband, playing around with him on Snapchat one day and posting cryptic quotes about him on Instagram another.
Despite the many ups and downs, it seems these two will be together forever.
