Bayley WWE Debut Rumors: NXT Athlete Headlines List Of Potential Call-Ups During Brand Split [VIDEO]

The WWE's brand extension offers a unique premise for thw company. While one can argue the depth may not warrant a split, it could at least provide the opportunity for some NXT call-ups.

On Wednesday, the WWE produced NXT Takeover: The End,  which is a pretty fitting name considering many of their Superstars could be coming up to the main roster once the brands split. When "SmackDown" goes live on Tuesday, July 19, the WWE will once again be splitting their roster into two sides.

Here are three possible call-ups for the brand split.

1) Bayley

The hug happy NXT star has already revealed which main roster ladies she wants to face, and that possibility may come sooner rather than later. Since Bayley is no longer NXT Women's Champion after dropping the belt to Asuka in April, it could be time for a new wave of women to take over NXT. The WWE's Women's Revolution could use a new boost and Bayley has a chance to rekindle her magic with Sasha Banks and to work with other top wrestlers by coming up to the main roster.

2) Finn Balor

"The Demon" dropped the NXT Championship to Samoa Joe at a house show in April in shocking fashion and then failed to recapture the gold in a Steel Cage match at Wednesday's event. All signs point to Balor being a huge part of the brand split as the WWE will need to round out their rosters with huge star power and considering Balor's popularity during his NXT run, he's a logical choice to call up.

3) American Alpha

This could be a wild-card pick, but the Jason Jordan and Chad Gable tandem has been great in NXT from their reluctant beginnings to their run as Tag Team Champions. The WWE's tag roster is starting to expand, but the more teams, the merrier for the division. Though they were attacked after dropping their NXT Tag Team Championsihps, possibly signaling a new feud, the duo could round out the tag division once the split occurs.
