According to FOXSports, one possible trade scenario between the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers that could work is a direct swap between Tyson Chandler and Iman Shumpert. But as per checking with ESPN NBA Trade Machine, this trade will not be successful due to Chandler's high salary.
Unless the Cavs will use Anderson Varejao's trade exception worth $9.64 million, the deal will now work under NBA trade and salary cap rules. This trade will give both teams benefits as the Suns will be able to free some space on an overcrowded frontcourt while giving the Cavs a useful big man as per stated in the report.
