Google Nexus 7 Has Powerful Hardware And Software Component But Might Not Be Rebranded As Pixel 7 [VIDEO]

Google Nexus 7 has been rumored since 2016 but still, no device has been launched until date. For this particular matter, there have been rumors suggesting Google might be preparing for a device that consists of the most powerful software and hardware component in the process likely to kill iPad Pro 2. The question is will Google rebrand the device as Pixel 7? The answer seems negative.

It's been long since it has been rumored that Nexus 7 will be powered by Andromeda OS, but in contrast, recent reports suggest that isn't the likeliest thing to happen. The device might run Android Nougat as Android Authority revealed that Andromeda OS has been tested with Nexus 9 tablet.

Nevertheless, Android Nougat is still considered to be one of the best mobile operating systems as of this time. The latest beta version has brought new features to devices such as refreshed notification bundles, longer battery life and many other to add. So, Nexus 7 will be having something very refreshing in its ranks.

However, in a nutshell, the most notable feature of the Android Nougat is the Google Assistant which is for available in the two other Pixel phones, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixel C tablet. Day Dream compatibility is included in the latest operating system version which will enhance the reputation of Nexus 7.

On the other hand, the hardware components of Nexus 7 is expected to include Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM. What is more intriguing about the device is the rumored internal storage that is expandable up to 2TB.

Google has recently ventured into a new Pixel new lineup, so it might call the upcoming Nexus 7 as the Pixel 7 to boost the newly launched brand. But, with reference to latest reports, since Nexus is still more popular and a known brand in the world, Google is likely to retain the brand and not rebrand it as Pixel 7.
