Bacelona's Neymar Admits He's Annoyed Because Of Lack Of Goals

Neymar who is one of the star players for Barcelona has expressed his concern about his recent form and has admitted that it's annoying how the numbers drop when compared to the seasons where he scored a lot. The Brazilian forward has scored only nine goals in 2016/17 where else he had scored a total of 70 goals in last two seasons, 31 in the previous season and 39 a year before that with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. However, he has helped his team with 17 assists which include seven assists from the Champions League.

"It's difficult when you're not scoring, especially when you're a forward, where the expectations are higher," Neymar told to Red Bull in an interview and added "So, yes, it's bad, it's annoying, but it's not my biggest worry. I concentrate on winning matches; it doesn't matter if it's me or a teammate that scores" as reported by kickoff.

This Sunday Neymar turned 25 and celebrated his birthday by scoring a goal against Athletic Bilbao and also created few problems with his brisk speed and tricks which let Barcelona win by 3-0. Luis Enrique the Coach for Barcelona was impressed with the way Neymar played "We're seeing a wonderful version of Neymar," Luis Enrique said in a postgame press conference "His capacity to dribble is impressive, as is his sacrifice when it comes to helping the team." Luis was impressed with Neymar and doesn't seem to be much worried about him not scoring many goals as reported by ESPN.

Neymar was suspended for the Tuesday's Copa Del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid as he was suspended after his third booking in the competition. He will return for the weekend's game to Alaves. Barca is lagging behind Real Madrid despite having played two games more.

Neymar knows his importance in the team and Barcelona would want him to keep up their hopes against Real Madrid if they have to win their third successive La Liga title.
