Winter Drill for the 2020 Audi Q8

It is not every day that one sees a high-profile vehicle being tested under the harsh snowy conditions. Just recently, leaked images have unraveled a German sports utility car getting assayed in the cold outdoors.

German automaker Audi will be introducing a crossover brand that mirrors the coupe. The upcoming roadster is set to compete against the GLE-Class automobile of Mercedes Benz and the X6 of BMW.

The 2020 Audi Q8 has primarily stepped into the spotlight during the recent Detroit Car Show. It has been perceived that the new unit is very much an enhanced Q7.

Based on the pictures, the vehicle depicts a classical outlook as manifested by its headlights and smaller frame. In addition to the grille and hood cut-outs, the air intakes' stainless steel fittings from the car's predecessor have been ditched.

Although most of what can be seen on the giveaway photos have been covered, some aspects of the Q8 can still be observed. Aside from its likely low-positioned suspension, the rear portion gets a proportioned design which is associated with a steeply-instituted glass.

During the 2017 North American International Auto Show, the Ingolstadt-based car manufacturer has divulged an outline that portrays the specifications of the 2020 Audi Q8. Although the perspective is different, the German organization has probably adopted the platform of the Q7 for the newest model.

The SUV is equipped with a 3-liter V6 turbo engine with an integrated hybrid element. This machine is able to launch an output of around 443 horsepower or 330 kilowatts with 516 pound-feet of torque.

The Q8 is able to race towards 62 miles per hour or 100kph within 5.4 seconds. An upgraded version of the Virtual Cockpit instrument has been installed inside the car.

It is being anticipated that Audi will be bringing out variations of the new brand. The German automaker plans to introduce the SQ8 and the RS Q8 sometime in the future.
