"Red Dead Redepmtion 2" To Make An Appearance On E3, More Details Will Be Revealed

'Red Dead Redemption 2' is the sequel to one of the greatest video games of all time and is certainly one of the most anticipated games this year. There's been little information regarding the sequel in the past couple of months but that may about to change when E3 arrives.

E3 2017 will be happening this June and from the looks of it, "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be making an appearance on the annual event to showcase the game. E3 has always been the biggest gaming event where announcements, previews and launch dates all occur.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" developer Take-Two Interactive is reported to be taking part of the festivities on E3 as reported by PC Advisor. The sequel still does not have a specific release date although it is slated for Fall 2017 release. If Take-Two Interactive does participate in the event to promote "Red Dead Redemption 2," it would be the perfect opportunity for the company to announce the exact release date of the game and hype the audience.

It's not surprising that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be joining E3 to take advantage of the publicity in the event to promote its impending release. Rockstar Games hasn't released a new game since 2013's Grand Theft Auto 5 which means there is great anticipation for "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Rockstar is generally credited with creating and perfecting open-world games which are a common theme among modern games. The developer started the trend with 2001's "Grand Theft Auto 3" with "Red Dead Redemption" being the first to feature a fully realized open world game with a western setting. 'Red Dead Redemption 2' looks to continue Rockstar's mastery of the genre.

Beyond "Red Dead Redemption 2" Take-Two Interactive has plans to make it a permanent franchise like "Grand Theft Auto" according to a report from Gamespot. "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One this Fall.
