WWE Rumors: AJ Styles Moving to Monday Night Raw After Getting Fired From SmackDown Live?

AJ Styles was fired from SmackDown Live by general manager Daniel Bryan after he attacked commissioner Shane McMahon this past Tuesday. The latest WWE rumors suggest that Styles might be heading to Monday Night Raw very soon.

As recapped by WWE.com, "The Phenomenal One" was very unhappy that he never got a fair shot to regain his WWE championship. He lashed out at both Shane and Bryan for screwing him out of a title shot every week.

AJ Styles lost the WWE title to John Cena at the Royal Rumble but he never got a one-on-one rematch. He was inserted into the Elimination Chamber, a Triple Threat Match and a Battle Royal to become the No. 1 contender but Randy Orton was in his way.

The former WWE champion finally snapped and attacked "Shane-O-Mac" this past Tuesday on SmackDown Live. AJ Styles battered and brutalized the commissioner to a bloody pulp by ramming his head into a car window.

Daniel Bryan immediately fired AJ Styles for attacking the brand's boss and the WWE even played it up by putting "The Face That Runs The Place" in the official website's Alumni Section. Of course, it should be noted that these are just part of the storyline and Styles was not fired from the company.

Shane McMahon challenged AJ Styles to a match at WrestleMania 33 and it is expected to become official next week. However, it seems like Styles moving away from SmackDown is a future storyline for the WWE.

According to Cageside Seats, the WWE is expected to move AJ Styles from SmackDown Live to Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 33. There WWE rumors regarding that trade since last year as Vince McMahon reportedly wants Styles to Raw to help the ratings.

The current storyline between AJ Styles and Shane McMahon is also a great way to explain the rumored trade. Nevertheless, these are just WWE rumors at the moment and should be taken with a grain of salt because plans are always subject to change.
