Lamar Jackson made a total of three touchdowns in their last two games, but they were not enough to hand them a win.

This time, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback bragged two touchdowns in 107 yards to finally tow his team to victory against the Dallas Cowboys, 34-17, at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Jackson fueled the Ravens coming from a 3-nil 31-yard touchdown by Cowboy's Greg Zuerlein. Jackson spilled a lightning-quick 37-yard touchdown on fourth-and-2, with Vander Esch stuck in transition. Since then, the Ravens never looked back and feasted on the weakness of the visiting team.

The home team gagged the Cowboys in a convincing finish after 23 of their players were sidelined due to COVID-19. Jackson himself had returned from 15-day inactivity.

The win allowed the Ravens to escape what would have been a three-game slide after falling to New England Patriots, 23-17, last November 16, and Tennessee Titans, 30-24, last November 23.

Their thrilling triumph against the Cowboys brought patience from the players and the fans. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Ravens-Cowboys game was postponed three times, following the confirmation that more Ravens players have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The most recent case was Dez Bryant, Raven's wide receiver, who could have aided the team in receiving and outpacing defenders. Some 19 minutes before the battle, Bryant tested positive for coronavirus, at a time when his team needed him the most.

Bryant played for the Cowboys for seven years, recording 73 touchdowns. He signed a deal with the Ravens in October 2018.

Bryant's absence was not a burden to Jackson. The reigning MVP recovered from COVID-19 to manhandle the Cowboys in his vintage form. Dallas looked for opening with wideout Michael Gallup clipping a 13-yard touchdown pampered by Tony Pollard's 67-yard boot.

The Ravens have yet to slip from a set-up trick by the Cowboys, but Myles Boykin rushed in the tackling drive. Raven's linebacker Patrick Queen ruled an interception en route to a Jackson-throw, voiding a kick from Justin Tucker, who got deflected by Zuerlein in the early going.

Jackson hit the defenseless Cowboys in a mobile assault. The 23-year-old quarterback satisfied his hunger by exploiting the poor plays of the Cowboys. His offensive mindset crippled the Dallas team through unstoppable drives and possessions.

If there was a consistent player on the Cowboys, cornerback Jourdan Lewis served his purpose in delivering strong tackles to the Ravens' runners. Lewis shell-shocked the Ravens in the initial moments of the game, coupled with Darian Thompson's effort to block the impending quarterbacks from reaching the end-line.

Thompson ran out of steam, however, as his executions failed in the next encounters. Lewis' tactic was feasible only if the other Cowboys' shared the same drift from this perspective. It was only a matter of time when defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence could not look for another teammate to cover the remaining attacks from the Ravens.

The Cowboys could have kept up midway in the game, but the 294 yards was too much to handle. Moreover, they could not compensate for their lack of defense, as their offense ran out from their book. The Cowboys missed three field goals only to leave their post for a nine-point push-away.

Jackson fully pledged to mark his return with a memorable remembrance to the Cowboys. This time, he saw Marquise Brown as a possible scoring outlet for a 14-point advantage to set up the Cowboys for more beating.

Brown made five receptions and 39 yards annexed to his dramatic touchdown for his cousin, who died two days ago.

The Ravens now improved to a 7-5 record. They will look to beat the Cleveland Browns, who currently enjoys a four-game win streak. The Cowboys (3-9), on the other hand, will battle the Cincinnati Bengals (2-9) in the hopes of surviving a 10-loss hole in the next four days.
