Kanye West Sneaker Deal: 'Yeezus' Signs $10 Million Deal With Adidas, Blasts Nike [VIDEO]

Kanye West has formally inked a $10 million deal with Adidas after angrily ending his deal with rival Nike over the way his royalties were being allocated.

According to the New York Post,  the father of Kim Kardashian's newborn baby daughter grew angry with Nike because he "only got got 10 to 20 cents on the dollar for sales of his sneakers and he only had a small personal stash to give out to his friends."

The Post reports Nike was the subject of one of West's recent rants during which he protested "Nike, last conversation I had with them I said, 'When are the Red Octobers coming out,' and they said, 'We're not sure.' Then I talked to my man down in Miami that runs the store and they said Nike was pressuring them saying if you want the Red Octobers you have to take all these trash-a-- shoes. Nike was pressuring them trying to leverage off some s - - t that I made."

The Post adds West has also protested he didn't get decent royalties from Nike because he's "not a professional athlete." He later added of his "I'm gonna be the first hip-hop designer and because of that, I'm gonna be bigger than Walmart."

The newspaper adds in recent days, West has also ranted about being the "The No. 1 rock star on the planet" while performing at Madison Square Garden.
