Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers, who has been the architect of four championship rosters in the last eight years, is undecided about his future with the team.

The 48-year-old front office executive's contract with the Warriors ends in June. He has been with the franchise since 2011, starting as assistant general manager to Larry Riley before being promoted to general manager 12 months into the job.

Bob Myers' Future With Golden State Uncertain

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Myers will take a couple of weeks off to think about his decision. He is reportedly "torn" due to his relationships with the Warriors' core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and head coach Steve Kerr.

The Athletic reported last January that Myers seeks to be among the highest-paid front-office executives in the league.

Under Myers, the Warriors experienced unprecedented success, winning four titles in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022 while breaking the record for most wins in the regular season in 2016.

Myers was named NBA Executive of the Year in 2014-15 after the Warriors' unexpected title run that season, as well as in 2016-17 for his role in signing superstar Kevin Durant via free agency.

The Philadelphia 76ers explored the possibility of luring Myers away from Golden State in 2018 following the firing of Bryan Colangelo. Ultimately, Myers turned down the offer and remained with the Warriors.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is hoping that Myers will remain with the team, calling him "a great friend."
