Scuderia AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda was seen helping out in cleaning efforts in the streets of Faenza, Italy, which were filled with mud.

Several regions in Italy have been hit by torrential rains, causing massive flooding and landslides. The unfortunate event also caused Formula 1 to cancel the upcoming Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, which was set to be held this weekend.

Yuki Tsunoda Cleans Up Muddy Streets in Faenza

The 23-year-old Japanese driver swept off the mud in an alley in Faenza, the city where his team's factory is based. He was accompanied by several other members of the team, who were also helping out with their own brooms and dustpans.

Despite being Red Bull Racing's sister team, Scuderia AlphaTauri continues to operate from Italy instead of Milton Keynes, England, where the defending Constructors' champions are based.

This is because Red Bull purchased the Italian team Minardi in 2005 to be their junior team.

The energy drink company renamed the newly-purchased team Scuderia Toro Rosso, which is roughly the Italian translation of Red Bull.

Despite the rebranded identity, they continued to use the factory and facilities owned by the previous Minardi team in Faenza since they acquired the racing team 18 years ago.

In 2020, Red Bull again renamed the team Scuderia AlphaTauri to promote their fashion brand.

Formula 1 world champions Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen honed their skills by driving for the Italy-based team during the early stages of their career before moving to the main Red Bull team.
