Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil superstar Neymar Jr. is rumored to be discussing with Premier League club Manchester United regarding a sensational move by the forward to Old Trafford.

Multiple Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in the Brazilian star, but Manchester United are said to have made the most progress.

Manchester United and Neymar Jr. Talks Debunked

However, renowned Italian football insider Fabrizio Romano shut off these reports, saying there are no ongoing negotiations between the English club and the Brazil superstar.

But the journalist also said that Paris Saint-Germain and Neymar Jr. are already discussing internally the 31-year-old's exit from the club, with both sides hoping that a solution will be available by the summer.

The prolific goalscorer first played in Europe with Barcelona, where he established himself as one of the world's best young talents, finishing third in the Ballon d'Or rankings in 2015 behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

After four seasons in Spain, Neymar moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for a world-record transfer fee of €222 million, a record that still stands today.

Although he has shown moments of brilliance during his Paris tenure, he has also been sidelined for a significant amount of time for the past six seasons due to injury.

Neymar is out for the season for PSG after undergoing surgery for a right ankle injury.

The French club has also found another superstar in Kylian Mbappe, signing him in a new deal last year, making the potential departure of the Brazilian more bearable.
