New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has progressed on his toe injury in the past week.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that the 31-year-old was in the pool yesterday working on balance, and maybe by the end of this week, he will throw and do some light hitting. He is encouraged by what he is seeing, as well as in conversations with him.

Boone further said that Judge is starting to do things that he wasn't able to do at all four to five days ago, and he feels like the four-time All-Star has turned the corner in his road to recovery.
"Still going slowly but I feel like real progress," the 50-year-old manager added.
Judge, who stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs 282 pounds, is one of the largest and tallest players in the league.
The reigning 2022 AL MVP is the only Yankee to be named as a finalist for the 2023 MLB All-Star Game. He was named the Rookie of the Year in 2016 and was an All-MLB First Team selection in 2021 and 2022.

Aaron Judge Injures Right Toe
Judge injured his right big toe after crashing against the concrete at the base of the right-field fence of Dodger Stadium while making a leaping catch last June 3. The Yankees lost the game in Los Angeles, 8-4.
The Yankees have gone 7-8 since Judge went down.
