This season will be different for the New York Jets than any other season, making linebacker DJ Reed feel more excited.
In fact, according to him, this is the most exciting he has been in his NFL career.
"Not gonna lie, the energy just feels different," Reed said, as Sports Network New York quoted.
"Definitely feels like more excitement coming into this year."

The Jets are coming to the new season with more hope with the acquisition of future Hall of Fame member Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers.
They have yet to make the playoffs since 2010, the longest active drought in the league.
Winning culture setting in
Linebacker CJ Mosley also feels that positive energy has embraced the Jets this offseason, and he believes people's view of the team has also changed.
He even went as far as saying that Jets is now a name you can connect to the highest team trophy. However, they need to put in the work to make it happen.
"When people hear the New York Jets," Mosley said, "they're either going to think losses, or now when they hear the New York Jets, they're going to think automatic Super Bowl. We can't think that way. We have to stay focused."
Rodgers has definitely affected the Jets' culture, even if they have yet to play an official game together.
Running back Breece Hall said last week that the Jets can have an answer for everything with Rodgers as their quarterback.
"If you don't want to load the box, Aaron's going to get the ball off all day, if you do we've got the RPOs and we've got him to take shots, and we have the receivers that are going to make plays for us, as well," he told the NFL Network.
"And if the offense is struggling, we have the backbones of our defense to rely on, so we're excited for that, for sure."
