Damian Lillard is still waiting to be traded, and the Portland Trail Blazers have yet to get anything done. However, it appears that the All-Star guard's wish to move to the Eastern Conference may happen, although it may not be to the Miami Heat.

The Blazers are allegedly discussing potential Damian Lillard trade scenarios with several teams, and one of the emerging suitors is from the Eastern Conference, according to Marc Spears of ESPN.

The scribe did not mention the name of the team. However, he did say that such a move would be risky, especially without Lillard's blessing.

"I'm kind of hearing rumors about another Eastern Conference team that I'm not gonna throw out there just yet, but boy, if a team is able to just trade for Lillard without his blessing, that's very, very risky, not only to that team, but also to the future relationship for a future Hall-of-Famer with the Blazers," Spears stated via SB Nation's Blazer's Edge.

Blazers passing Lillard problem to mystery team

It is a known fact that the seven-time All-Star made it clear that he would only play for the Miami Heat. Hence, being shipped to a different team raises many questions, including his chances of showing up.

Despite the claims of Spears, some believe that Portland is bluffing for the Heat to offer a better package, according to SI.com.

But if there are mystery teams truly interested, some speculate it to be either the New York Knicks or the Orlando Magic.

Both have the assets that the Blazers are demanding. However, either team would be inheriting a player who may not even show or suit up for them.
