Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Detroit Red Wings (15-9-7, 37 points) and Florida Panthers (9-17-5, 23 points) hit the ice at the BB&T Center for the second of five meetings against each other this season. Detroit will look for revenge after falling to Florida 2-1 on Saturday.

The Red Wings will be glad to be on the road as the loss on Saturday was their 11th home defeat in its last 13 games at Joe Louis Arena.

"We have to find a way to play a lot more simple than we did [Saturday]. We were making way too many mistakes," defenseman Niklas Kronwall told NHL.com after the loss. "Just how we played [Saturday] isn't going to cut it."

Kronwall is fourth on the team with 21 points off of three goals and 18 assists. The team's leading scorer Henrik Zetterberg (11-19-30) remains sidelined while Pavel Datsyuk (12-11-23), who is second on the team in scoring, is expected to come back after missing seven games with a concussion.

After topping Detroit on Saturday, the Panthers were unable to keep the momentum going as the team fell 6-2 to the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday.

"I don't think we were very good to start the game. Obviously to come back against this team in this building after giving them that lead in the first period is going to be difficult," Panthers interim head coach Peter Horacheck said via NHL.com.

The Panthers have been paced by Scottie Upshall (6-11-17), Tomas Fleischmann (4-12-16) and Brian Campbell (4-11-15).

The probable starter in net for Detroit is Jimmy Howard, who is 6-8-6 with a 2.70 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage while Florida is likely to go with Tim Thomas, who was in net for Florida when they topped Detroit on Saturday, and is 8-10-1 with a 2.81 GAA and a .908 save percentage.

The Red Wings will try to get a measure of revenge while Florida looks to beat them for the second time in four days when the lights come on tonight at BB&T Center in Florida.
