Sane took to social media to share her thoughts on Morgan's injury and the blame that has been sent her way since the incident.
"I always step into the ring with deep respect for my opponent, and I train hard every day to give the audience something they can truly enjoy," Kane said on X.
"Even if it was never intentional, knowing that someone was hurt in a match with me is something I carry deeply. It breaks my heart," she added. "I hope with all my heart for a full and speedy recovery."
Many fans have replied to her tweet, offering reassurances that Morgan's injury was not her fault.
"We love you Kairi and know that you did nothing wrong. Unfortunately, injuries and accidents happen when you put your body on the line in the way you guys do," one commenter said. "I'm so sorry that you had to be a part of this, do not let it get you down or be too hard on yourself."
"It's unfortunate how even the smallest and most basic of movements can cause injury," another commenter wrote. "We know it was a freak accident, and I hope you don't carry that burden at all."
Liv Morgan to Reportedly Undergo Surgery
