WWE star Karrion Kross is set to return to the limelight at the soon-to-be-held Night of Champions event. Following weeks of absence from high-profile televised activities, Kross is finally ready to present his skills on TV once again.

Kross' most recent significant appearance on television happened during the April 18 edition of WWE SmackDown, in which he participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Since WrestleMania 41 weekend, Kross has only had four matches under his belt, all in WWE Main Event tapings. Those fans who wanted to see him wrestle on a larger stage now have something to look forward to, as he returns to the ring against Sami Zayn.

According to The Takedown, the rivalry between Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross has been building up over the past few weeks. Zayn, tired of recurring backstage mind games and psychological strategies used by Kross, ultimately took matters into his own hands on Monday Night Raw.

In the wake of lashing out at and physically battling Kross, Zayn then quickly checked with WWE official Adam Pearce to ensure that the two superstars would get their revenge inside the ring.

The bout was immediately booked for WWE Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, adding even more hype to an already-packed event.

The news came on the heels of an announcement that Dominik Mysterio will not be able to compete in the match-up as previously booked for the Intercontinental Championship because of an injury.

First Premium Live Event Match Since WrestleMania XL

Night of Champions is an important one for Karrion Kross, who will be competing in his first Premium Live Event (PLE) match since WrestleMania XL. In it, Kross was part of a team effort with AOP to take on Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits in a fierce Philadelphia Street Fight.

His last singles contest on a premium level was at Crown Jewel 2022, where he went up against Drew McIntyre in a Steel Cage. With this next match against Zayn, Kross is set to make his mark and strongly assert himself once again in the minds of WWE fans.
