Brett Favre was recently surprised that Aaron Rodgers, one of the most skilled quarterbacks in the NFL, has only one Super Bowl ring to show for it.

Favre had his say after observing Rodgers' stellar inaugural stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers, pointing to both Rodgers' ability and the astonishing lack of championships he had won.

Looking back at Aaron Rodgers' NFL career, Favre conceded that he had anticipated more Super Bowl victories, given Rodgers' consistent high-level play. In an interview with TMZ Sports, he said:

"What I'm most surprised by, is he hasn't won more Super Bowls, as prolific as he's been. The guy, and I've said this since Day One, he can still play. He can spin it with the best of them. The age is just a number."

Rodgers Shines in Steelers Debut

During his inaugural game with the Steelers, Aaron Rodgers performed well, throwing four touchdowns while completing 22 of 30 passes for 244 yards. His performance secured a victory over his original team, the New York Jets.

Rodgers might not be youthful anymore, but at 41, his longevity in the league is admirable. He can still lead the Steelers in crucial games, and this would possibly show in a home game against the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday.

In "The Sage Steele Show" podcast, Favre called Rodgers "complicated" when he was brought up by the host on the list. While it sounds off at first, he concluded his statement by praising Rodgers' "tremendous talent."

Favre added that while Aaron's stature is not impressive and he's not physically gifted either way, his football IQ is what sets him apart from the rest.

In other news, an NFL reporter claimed that the Philadelphia Eagles were the frontrunners to get Micah Parsons. As Sports World News reported, the defending Super Bowl champs were determined to get Pasons on board by offering two first-round picks, a third-round pick, and a fifth-round pick. However, Dallas might have found this unattractive and instead agreed with the Green Bay Packers.
