In what is his last WWE appearance in his home state of Boston, John Cena has emerged victorious and won the Intercontinental Championship.
Because of this win, Cena is now a Grand Slam Champion.
John Cena Wins Intercontinental Title
The championship match took place during the November 11 edition of Monday Night Raw after "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio interrupted John Cena and Triple H in the ring.
Mysterio claimed that he could beat Cena any given time, place, or era, which prompted Triple H to announced that the Intercontinental Championship was going to be defended right then and there.
Despite Mysterio's usual antics, Cena prevailed by hitting an Attitude Adjustment despite the former successfully hitting the 619 and Frog Splash on him.
