CM Punk, one of the WWE Superstars who have been vocal about AJ Styles' retirement, has touched on the topic once again during a podcast appearance.
However, the current World Heavyweight Champion refused to divulge what Styles had told him regarding the topic.
CM Punk Discusses AJ Styles' Retirement
Appearing on "The Pat McAfee Show," Punk did admit that he had a discussion with the Phenomenal One about the latter's retirement, according to Sportskeeda.
However, he refused to say anything definite about whether or not Styles really retired.
"Who knows? I don't know," said Punk. "I know what he told me behind the scenes, which is nobody else's business."
Punk did say that he was in favor of the possibility of Styles wrestling at a future WrestleMania.
"Listen, if we are ever doing a WrestleMania in the future in Atlanta, and we need like gnarly Allen Jones to come back and do a Street Fight," Punk went on to say. "Like Bruno Sammartino against the Macho Man Randy Savage, bring it on."
"I don't know if that was a retirement for AJ Styles..

Has AJ Styles Retired?
Days after Styles' final WWE match against Gunther, which he lost, speculation is still rife that Styles had not fully retired.
It can be recalled that, following the end of his match at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, Style was about to leave his gloves in the ring. However, he changed his mind and put them back on.
Many have taken this as a signal that the Phenomenal One isn't done with wrestling just yet. As of press time, he has not been moved to the alumni section of the WWE website.
Fans are keeping their hopes alive despite the fact that Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE's Chief Content Officer, insisted that AJ has, in fact, retired.
"To me the only conversation that needs to happen with AJ Styles right now is respect, tribute and thank you," he said.
Triple H says he's had conversations with AJ Styles about working in a behind the scenes role in WWE, indicating that he hopes to see Styles follow a path similar to Shawn Michaels in NXT - however, he says now is not the time for Styles to make that decision:
