Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Buffalo Sabres (10-24-3, 23 points) and Toronto Maple Leafs (18-16-5, 41 points) faceoff for the fourth of five meetings this season live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The game can be live streamed here. Buffalo fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action on WGR 550 while Toronto fans can do the same on TSN 1050.

Buffalo closed out their final stretch of games before the holiday break by winning three out of four games while Toronto has lost seven of its last nine contests. These teams split a home-and-home on Nov. 15 and 16 where the Sabres won the opening game 3-1 in Buffalo before the Maple Leafs won the next night in Toronto 4-2. The last time these two teams played, the Sabres won 3-2 in overtime Nov. 29 in Buffalo.

The Maple Leafs are coming off of a 2-1 loss in the shootout to the New York Rangers on Monday.

"We've been good and then we've been not so good," forward Nazem Kadri (11-12-23) told Sportsnet. "The bottom line is that we've got to find consistency. In this League, you've got to win a few games in a row to kind of give yourself some breathing room."

Phil Kessel has paced the Leafs with 33 points off of 17 goals and 16 assists while James van Riemsdyk has 14 tallies and 13 helpers for 27 points and Mason Raymond has 11 markers and 14 assists for 25 points.

Despite the Sabres place in the standings, the crowd was raucous during their 2-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes at home Monday in overtime.

"It was fantastic," forward John Scott told the Buffalo News. "I know our record. I know where we are. But to have the crowd behind us like that is unbelievable. It's something you can't describe on the ice. You get goose bumps and you feel the energy in the crowd."

Matt Moulson leads the Sabres with 24 points off of 12 goals and 12 assists while Cody Hodgson has found the back of the net eight times and added 11 helpers for 19 points and Tyler Ennis has lit the lamp eight times and added seven assists for 15 points. Hodgson is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Ryan Miller will likely be between the pipes for the Sabres and is 9-17-0 with a 2.76 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage while Jonathan Bernier should be slated to start for the Leafs and is 10-11-4 with a 2.42 GAA and a .929 save percentage this season.

The Sabres will look to keep on winning while the Maple Leafs hope to bounce back from a tough stretch after a three-day rest when the puck drops tonight at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
